Are you interested in working in the Solar PV industry?
With the new City & Guilds 2399 Solar PV course you will get technical and hands on experience to carry out PV installations. There is also a chance to go to Germany for specialised training & work experience in a renewable energy company.
Who is it for?
This 6-day course is intended for qualified electricians, practicing domestic installers, who want to install grid connected domestic photovoltaic systems that are either integrated into, or retro fitted onto, a domestic property. You will need N/SVQ 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent earlier certification.
Course Content Training
C&G 2399 - 201 (2 days): Fundamental working principles, installation options and regulatory requirements for microrenewable energy. C&G 2399 - 311 (4 days): Know the requirements to install, commission and handover small-scale solar photovoltaic systems.
Why take this course?
This City & Guilds 2399 Solar PV provides you with a solid grounding and hands on experience in installing Solar PV equipment. Course certification is awarded upon successful completion of both the written and practical assessments; this certificate can be used as evidence of your training and ability to install and commission PV systems and will be vital to gaining MCS accreditation.
