Experiential learning in Ethiopia: Embrace is All about Life Dreams., those dreams which will bring happiness to the self and others ….and the greatest dreams are dreamt by many and when the time is right, those who are touched by it will come together and give their best to make a diff erence in whatever way they can. We have the great pleasure to announce that we are currently setting up an INGO (International Non-governmental Organisation) as African Headquarters for our work. Embrace’s INGO will serve the global community from its unique base near Addis Ababa with experiential learning through training and placement programmes for young people and adults. The INGO’s Global Family Centre will off er training and accommodations for national and international participants. Embrace feels very fortunate to cooperate with our friends and colleagues in Ethiopia on this magnifi cent project which will bring great benefi t to many. In January 2008, Embrace’s Programme Director, Ms Waltraud Idir and Vocational Instructor Mr Easton Murray visited Ethiopia to learn about the country first-hand and make plans for the project. The project receives support from individuals, professionals and organisations from Ethiopia, UK and from all over the world trusting that the project will display a joint vision of unity, understanding, care, opportunities and success for everyone.

Future of the Project:

  • Official set-up of INGO in 2008
  • Development of tailor-made service proposal for Ethiopia
  • Intensive fundraising over various channels and partnerships
