International Career Exploration

This project offered vocational students the opportunity to gain work experience for 2 weeks in London, UK. The students came from Comfort Training College in Germany and were taking courses on social care and catering. The students learning about social care gained knowledge about the UK’s multi-agency approach focusing on equal opportunities and child protection which they had not yet covered in detail. They also visited the Charles Dickens museum and Lambeth College. The student about catering learned about the vegan movement in the UK and how food can affect the wellbeing of people.
